ive been a sade fan since smooth operator debuted 25 years ago. cant believe its been that long. and yes, i have all the albums.

theres just something silky and sultry in her/their songs. most of the time, i can imagine it playing in a smoky dark bar, a piano in a corner, and aproned waiters.

i have listened to the new single and seen the new vid.

i cant wait to buy it in stores soon! i know they said worldwide debut on feb8 but it hasnt hit these shores yet.

now, on to the vid. very unique and groundbreaking for her/them.

the military motif, the many costume changes, the dancing. the madonna-ish dust-kicking, the contemporary beat......nice!

only thing is, is it just me or does she look like gloria estefan in many angles? has she had work done on her face? dang....
